In doing so, we strive to create the premier escape room experience while at the same time broadening the appeal of this form of experiential entertainment to families, work groups for team building, and all other walks of life. What is an escape room you might ask? An escape room is a real-life team-based puzzle game, where you are locked in a room and have to solve puzzles together to get out. These are excellent team activities and can be really fun, especially if you like playing puzzle video games or solving puzzles. Our rooms are team orientated, present clear objectives and focus on telling an enjoyable story.

We offer the most exciting escape rooms in the Union County Area. Masterpiece Escapes offers real-life adventure puzzle games. Once locked inside, you and your group will need to work together to discover clues, decipher puzzles, open locks, and ultimately find your way to freedom before the timer runs out. If you enjoy games and apps in the puzzle and clue finding genres, you'll be right at home as you immerse yourself in these real-life challenges.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is an escape room?
A: It's a real life, fully immerse gaming experience. Find clues, solve puzzles, progress through the game and put together the solution before your time runs out.

Q: How long does it take to play an escape room?
A: You will have one hour to solve each of our rooms. We do allow time for the teams to finish the rooms even if you go over on time. A member of our staff will assist you and answer any questions you have so that you can leave feeling great.

Q: How many people do I need, to play?
A: We suggest having 4-8 players for your group as the rooms are designed for this capacity. We do accept bookings for 2 players and we do have rooms that will play up to 10 players. Keep in mind, if you do not book privately you may have other players play along with you.

Q: Do you accept walk-in business?
A: Yes we do! It is a good idea to go ahead and schedule your experience with us to be sure you get the time slot and room you really want.

Q: How do I book a room?
A: Go to book a room. From the drop-down menus: select the number of adults, children, and which experience you prefer. Then select the date and time slot you would like. You will pay upon arrival, before we brief you on your game.

Q: Should my group show up early?
A: Yes, about 15 minutes early will do. We will need this time to process payments for your group and brief you on your experience before your designated start time.

Q: Am I really locked in a room?
A: No. Our rooms are designed so that any player may leave if necessary at any point in the game. We understand that phone calls and bathroom breaks cant wait sometimes.

Q: What ages are appropriate?
A: We suggest ages 12 and up due to the depth of puzzles and concepts in the rooms. You may use your discretion if you feel your child is up for the challenge. We do require at least one adult (over 18 years old) to accompany younger players in the rooms.
